Town of Atherton Civic Center Master Plan

In order to be able to continue to effectively serve its community, the Town of Atherton initiated a master planning process to plan for a new Civic Center to replace the existing facilities in need of expansion and replacement. The process included developing space programs for each of the facility needs for the Police Department, Administration, and Library, as well as extensive community workshops and neighborhood meetings to engage the community. The Master Plan was approved in 2014 and design for the new Civic Center is currently underway.

Ohlone Community College District Facilities Master Plan

The District Facilities Master Plan defines Ohlone's vision of the ideal learning environment. One of the biggest challenges on the campus was to better integrate accessible circulation throughout the campus on a steep hillside site and provide better wayfinding and gathering space, in addition to responding to the District's Educational Master Plan requirements. The Master Plan was approved by the District in 2014 and design is currently underway for the first phase of development.

Laney College Facilities Master Plan

Key elements of the Master Plan included the consolidation of several educational departments, the construction of a new library and educational center, major renovations to the athletic facilities, performing arts center and student union. consolidation of student services into a one-stop-shop, and improving wayfinding, circulation, and the overall image of the campus. The Master Plan was approved by the District for implementation in 2009.
