The West Contra Costa Unified School Districted teamed with LPS Richmond (Leadership Public Schools), a charter high school, to create a shared high school campus for the charter school and the Sylvester Greenwood Academy district continuation high school.

The new campus is designed in accordance with the district's education and design standards, with each high school having its own classroom building and both schools sharing a gymnasium. The gymnasium is large enough to house the entire student population of each school and also includes a dance studio, weight room, and a health clinic.
